Blues Dance gehört zu der Familie der Swing-Tänze und teilt mit ihnen den afrikanischen Ursprung. Blues Dance entstand in kleinen Musikbars (Juke Joints) in den Südstaaten der USA und wurde später u.a. auch im Savoy Ballroom getanzt. Es ist ein intimer Tanz mit viel Groove und Freiheit für spontane Interpretationen.

Eintritt: Kollekte (10 - 20 Franken wird empfohlen) Stefano “Slidin’ Wolf” Ronchi is an Italian blues guitar player and singer living in Berlin. His way of composing and arranging is grounded in old black folklore music from the 20’s and 30’s, from Delta Blues and Piedmont Blues, through old Spirituals, stomp and “swamp” sounds. Passionate about slide guitar, he looks at the tradition with his personal, modern and respectful attitude. He is constantly touring around the World, playing in blues clubs, Festival, and blues dance events as solo artist or collaborating with other great musicians, as Tony Coleman, The Baseballs, Dan Nash, Marcos Coll, Marko Jovanovic, Micha Maass, The Ragtime Millionaires, Jessie Gordon, and many more: Berlin Blues Explosion, Blue Note (Milan), Buddy Guy’s Legend (Chicago), Q- Factory (Amsterdam), Banana Peel (Belgium), Tiny blues weekend (Dresden), Blues up the backyard (Berlin), Big mama swing (Madrid), Blues baby blues (London), Hygge Blues (Copenhagen), Blossom blues (Zurich), Summer Blues Camp (Lucerne), Petit ESBF (Madrid), Blues River Notes (Milan), Crossroads Blues (Derby), Round Midnight (Athens), Bread Jar Blues (Tel Aviv), Atlantic Blues (Porto), Vienna Sugar Blues (Austria) and many others blues events in Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Israel, Germany, Belgium, Latvia, Switzerland, France, Portugal. He has toured in Europe with Tony Coleman, who has been drummer for many blues legends as Albert King, Albert Collins, Etta James, Ruth Brown, and for the king of the Blues himself: B.B. King, for almost 30 years. In 2012 he recorded guitars on the record “Come il suono dei passi sulla neve” by Zibba & Almalibre. The album won the famous Italian award Premio Tenco, as Album of the Year. In the first days of 2018 he has recorded a live album in studio with his trio, produced and recorded by RBB Berlin. The record will be out soon!! His new album, “IN CLOSE EMBRACE” is out now, available on ITunes and other digital stores, and at every live concerts.
